I inherently enjoy engaging with individuals, couples and families in the deeper concerns of their lives. I believe the work people do in counseling is meaningful, important and thankfully often leaves them happier and with a better understanding of themselves and others. I also believe conflict is a natural and normal part of every relationship and when people reach a level of trust and connection, conflict stops threatening relationships and instead deepens them. I believe at all ages our family relationships continue to influence and inform us.

I have my license in Clinical Social Work. I received my Masters in Social Work with honors in 2003. I have worked with adolescents, individuals and families for the past 13 years in a variety of settings. I have a particular interest in working with families with teenagers, individuals struggling with relationships, adult families and with couples who find themselves caught in the same argument over and over again.

My approach includes a mixture of narrative, emotionally focused, family systems and cognitive behavioral theories. I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. In each session I aim to be curious and explore your perspectives and feelings as well as provide direction around the goals, hopes and stories you have shared.

I am happy to answer any further questions you may have about my practice. I currently offer a free half hour introductory session. I look forward to hearing from you!
