I have a Masters in Pastoral Counseling from the Athenaeum of Ohio, and a 30 hour post graduate certificate in Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton in Ohio. Additionally I have advanced training in body-centered psychotherapy, EMDR, Jungian Sand Tray, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. I work with adolescents, adults and families and believe that who we are and how we experience life from the time of birth until the present, impacts us. It influences how we see ourselves and others and how we perceive the world around us. It is my belief that we have been created to learn, grow, and use our gifts and return to God more whole, free, and loving that when we came here. Thus, I utilize an eclectic approach combining wholistic and client centered therapy with inner child work and trauma work. I currently contract with The Grotto Counseling Center providing counseling and supervision, as well as seeing private clients at The North Portland Growth Place.
